On the same page

After a semi-tense week with Beth, things are settling back down into a groove. The spending the night with BFF was settled very easily. BFF's grandmother liked my idea of two nights here with BFF, two nights at BFF's house, and the other three nights a week at home with family. She liked it so much, she instituted it at her house, too. Having all the adults on the same page can make parenting much easier. This is the first time Beth's had a close friend who's family is really involved. That's not to say that we know it all. I'm sure they are conspiring to get away with some stuff on a daily basis. It does help to know that the other family cares enough to keep an eye on them, too.

Alli and Boy Wonder's bathroom is fully-functioning now. It's not particularly attractive but it works. All it needs is a mirror, woodwork, and towel racks. It got rather expensive. Just this week, I've spent $465 for the fixtures, $100 on plumbing supplies, and $210 for labor. It adds up quickly!
